The houseplant that Jonathan finds in his room at the Pembroke Hospital gets a separate mention, because it is a very special case: it starts off as the definition of the miserable houseplant, as a dried and nearly rotten piece of sad greenery, but after Jonathan waters it with pure water, which he has to go through a lot to find, it blooms into a lively, bright green plant. And Jonathan names it Lisa, as a tribute to Life Is Strange, Don't Nod's flagship game series. (hisbrokenbutterfly)
