The Orphanage has always been very suspicious, and as such needed to look as normal as possible. For this reason, it was decorated with a few miserable houseplants here and there (hisbrokenbutterfly).

Resident Evil 2 Remake - Chief Irons's Office
Chief Irons is not a big fan of the alive, but he does have a pot with miserable greenery in his office. Probably too mundane to become a worthy addition to his taxidermy collection, but its obvious miserable nature does match his sick taste to a certain degree (hisbrokenbutterfly).
